What is the best way to create an Organizational Model to be used as an Org Chart

A good example might be as follows:

 

Starting with the Company as the subject of the model I would want to show the executive level management and the organizations they manage... so we might have the CEO at the level just under the Company and then there may be several Executive Vice Presidents, General Council, CFO and COO... I would want to be able to see the Roles and the names of the people in those roles. Are there any best practices for doing this sort of Organizational modeling?
