Designer wont maximise

Hi all

Not sure if anyone else suffers this. I have a win 2008 server and a win 7 machne, both with the designer installed and both incur this issue where if you have the designer open for a while and then minimise it (so on taskbar) it then refuses to maximise when you click the icon on the taskbar.

Only way round seems to be to run task manager and select the designer from apllications list and click switch to, at which point it maximises but in a small window.

Yup, get it a lot, but no consistent reasons. Solution: Click - click - swear - click - click - swear - atl+tab - Click - click - swear - click - click - swear - atl+tab - Click - click - swear - click - click - swear - atl+tab, then it works. Swearing may be optional....

I agree, it is an annoying problem. Sure fire way to get back up is Task Manager.

I agree. If I usually close a separate window (any IE, SQL manager...doesn't matter) then whatever is snagging it releases it so it shows. Really weird bug. I suspect it my be linked to the issue when u add an image the image on your file system is locked until the designer is closed.
