Metastorm Smart Business Workspace 9.0 Known Issues
The following is taken from the Metastorm Smart Business Workspace 9.0 Release Notes.

Known Issues
InstallShield: Windows Fails with Blue Screen (STOP message) Error: PAGE\_FAULT\_IN\_NONPAGED\_AREA
During the InstallShield install process, after selecting Next from the database dialog (Figure 1), Windows displays a blue screen with error PAGE\_FAULT\_IN\_NONPAGED\_AREA and message STOP. Windows then shuts down and a reboot is necessary.
This issue has been experienced under the following conditions:
- installing on a system that is using VPN, and
- the syntax .\\sqlinstancename is specified in the database server field on the InstallShield dialog screen (Figure 1).

ACTION REQUIRED
To circumvent this issue, use the following syntax to specify the hostname when the SQL Server instance name must be specified:
Hostname\\SQLServerInstanceName
Where:
Hostname is the host name of the database server
SQLServerInstanceName is the SQL Server instance name
If using a default instance of SQL Server, the instance name does not need to be specified. In this case, specify just the host name of the database server.
It is strongly recommended that use of the syntax .\\sqlinstancename not be used regardless of whether the system is using VPN during the install.
InstallShield: Current install of MSBW is not detected
The InstallShield process does not properly detect a current install of MSBW. InstallShield will attempt to install the product again.
ACTION REQUIRED
IF MSBW is installed, uninstall MSBW prior to running InstallShield.
Remove User Account Request Fails with Code 300 Delete Statement Conflict
In the User Management widget, the request to remove a user account fails. The error dialog shows the message: 300: The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint 'FK\_ChatInstantMessages\_UserFromId'.
This issue has been experienced when removing an account for a user that has participated in a context based Chat session.
ACTION REQUIRED
To circumvent this issue, use the Disable User action in the User Management widget in place of removing the user account. Disabling the user account will prevent the user from signing in to the Workspace.
New Skill Request Fails with Code 300 Insert Statement Conflict
In the User Management widget, the request to add a new skill fails. The error dialog shows the message: 300: The INSERT statement conflicted with the FOREIGN KEY constraint 'FK\_CompetencyLevels\_Competence'.
This issue has been experienced when adding a skill with a range level above 5.
ACTION REQUIRED
After dismissing the error dialog, no further action is necessary. The skill is added to the database and displayed in the skills list.
