Rich Text controls in Reports

Has anyone tried displaying the contents of a rich text control on a report? Obviously the standard binding reveals the HTML code. I've tried setting a label on load, but the reports are built somewhat different than the forms and so far my attempts have failed. If anyone knows the trick I'd appreciate the heads up.

Hi,

This is just a quick confirmation that currently there is no support for displaying the content of a rich text control on a report.

There are no immediate plans to include this but we plan to revisit that in at some point in the future.

Bummer, that limits the usefulness of an RTF then.

I haven't tried/look into it yet, but can the report use the "HTML to text" function to at least strip out the HTML formats?

Unfortunately there is no way to use this function in a Business Object. You could use it to save the data in another field, but that is a bit of a crock IMO.
