Need suggestion on Implementation

Hi

 

 

I need your suggestions in implementing following scenario in Metastorm.

 

Requirement Statement: We need to select few records manually after fetching the data from database. Some thing like approve or reject for each row fetched.

 

Scenario: On a click of a button i should get data from database. lets consider i have valid data for my query.

The data retrieved should be populated in a table format with a kind of selection option for every row of data fetched.

 

Problem: I am trying to implement this using the check boxes for every row. it seems it is not possible in metastorm.

 

Can any one suggest me what could be the better method to implement this in Metastorm to satisfy my requirement.



Hope i am clear with my requirement. Do let me know if you need more inputs from my side.

I believe that the best approach is to use a dropdown with "Yes/No", "True/False", "Selected/Unselected", etc.

We have tried this solution, but we are not able to keep the dropdown editable....

Is it possible to keep the dropdown as editable and other data as non editable ?

We have implemented this , and we are able to see the dropdowns in each of the row. is there any way where we can update db depending upon the dropdowns selected ?

 

Any out of the box feature or should we implement it using the custom .net code ?

On form save, the table associated with the grid will be updated.  You can then take action on the updated rows based upon the column settings.
