Printing Workflow Models
I have a workflow model with a lot of process steps. Any tips on printing workflow models to a plotter to have a large printout of the model? Can models be printed in this way?

Greetings Rob,
I've worked with two users that have output workflow models to an A0 plotter. Technically it works just fine.
The one tip I would give is to ask about the audience for the models. Who will be looking at the models, and what information are you seeking to get across ? What level of detail will the audience be expecting ?
You may want to consider using a framework approach to building models, perhaps using the Process modeler to give a high level overview and then using the 'drill down' capability in the Workflow nodeler to reduce the number of process steps visible in any one workflow model.

Andy

Andy,
I am working with an existing process map. I agree with your suggestion that broken down into logical frameworks is better but... - no time to break it up.
When I print my Model, it comes out fuzzy. I have checked the printer settings. Print to 1 page, paper size, etc.... Is there a trick to making the model print correctly?
Thanks in advance for your comments!

Andy,
Thanks for the reply. One aspect that we want to get across is to remove the process complexity. But showing all the steps, we hope that will start a meaningful discussion. One reason we wanted to plot out the current state to illustrate this point. Plus the audience is new to ProVision. Taking them into ProVision and drilling down into the details will be the next steps.
We will give the plotter a try.
Regards, Rob
