Suggestion for OpenDeploy to BEA with DoDeletes Option

I'm wondering what the best practice is for deploying to an application server with the DoDeletes option turned on? The app server is BEA. Since BEA holds compiled classes in the WEB-INF folder in '_tmp' folders, we don't want to touch those with OpenDeploy. Although we are managing the WEB-INF folder in TeamSite, we are not managing the compiled classes, of course. Should we use an exclude regex? If so, what should it look like? Other suggestions? This is OD551 Win2k-->Solaris.
