Using "SearchDirectory" formula with Active Directory for dynamic roles BPM 9.02

Hi all,

 

I'm trying to use the "SearchDirectory" formula in BPM 9 to populate dynamic roles.

 

I have created a role and the formula I'm using toFreewarepopulate it is

 

"SearchDirectory(new ADConnection(),"LDAP://vmMetastorm.local","","","Base")"

 

This is causing errors in the Metastorm web client when the role is assigned to an action ("unable to display process list").

 

I suspect that the SearchDirectory formula is returning either no data or data in the wrong format. Has anyone else tried doing this ?

 

Maybe I'm going about Active Directory integration in the wrong way ? Any pointers welcome.
