Whenever you have doubt if you are doing something wrong, always try to attach as what you have done. Also provide your working environment - TS version, DB, OS etc

are you trying to run sql within perl script or trying to run sql scripts through perl?
you can use DBI drivers to do so, this works on same principal of creating a DB connection, executing sql statements and retrieving the resultsets with quite a lot of error handling allowed.

Running sql queries in Perl not perl script. I am using DBI already.
I have got the connection, then I am trying to navigate through
all my sql query result set. Shoud I use an array to store the entire
sql query result set. Which I have done.

Would the specification for using perl script, or only perl be different?
Teamsite 6.5, using Windos OS sytem.

That doesn't work - you need to post the code within [html]...[/html] blocks - not within [quote]...[/quote] blocks

Well - there's a syntactic error in what you posted before:

...
<iw_sql_query stmt ='select * from customer' result_set='all_customers/>'
...

The highlighted single-quote should be two places to the left, before the

.
Are you sure you don't need any of the other attribute / parameters for the iw_sql_open call?

Are you sure you have a DB set up to support the query you're running?The rest of it looks like it's straight out of the perldoc for TeamSite:T::iw_sql_open, so I'm assuming that's correct.
