Deployment Service will not start

Hi,

I have just installed Metastorm BPM 9.0 onto a development server in preperation for a migration from our existing BPM server shortly.  I have been able to install the software and can connect to the /metastorm and /metastormadministration websites, however when I attempt to deploy a process from Deisgner on a client PC the deploy is failing with the following error:

 

Error 3/08/2010 10:22:29 PM   Could not connect to net.tcp://dbpm1/Deployment/DeploymentService. The connection attempt lasted for a time span of 00:00:00.9984128. TCP error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 172.16.1.152:808.

 On the BPM server (All components except the SQL Server are hosted on the one server), I have found that the Deployment service wasnt started and my attempts to start it result in it not starting and the following error being recorded in Event Viewer:

Service cannot be started. Metastorm.Common.Addin.ServiceException: The service threw an exception at start up and has failed to start Service: Wcf Hosting Service Service type: WcfHostingService ---> System.ServiceModel.CommunicationException: The service endpoint failed to listen on the URI 'net.tcp://localhost/Deployment/DeploymentService' because access was denied. Verify that the current user is granted access in the appropriate allowedAccounts section of SMSvcHost.exe.config. ---> System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: Access is denied

 

 

I cannot locate the SMSvcHost.exe.config file to be able to confirm/edit to point to the server name, I have also been unable to find reference to SMSvcHost on the forums, installation guide or KB.

If anyone is able to provide assistance it would be greatly appreciated.
