Training Help

Ok, so we invested in PV now we have many people that need to learn basic functionality such as publishing, or ... pick a topic.  We need to be able to facilitate their learning process on their schedule and with little investment -- oh and potentially 30mins or less at a shot.  Sound familiar?  And, yes, in some cases we will sign people up for PV training through OpenText, but we know what reality looks like too.  So, what all this means is that the EA team is saddled with a significant training responsibility.  When we would prefer to focus on developing modeling content, clarifying business strategy, making our company more agile, etc.

 

So, what can OpenText do to help?  How about creating a library of short videos that cover the basics?  As it stands now I have to do all of this internally.  I have identified about 65 videos that we will need to create (12 are done so far) to facilitate a JIT / CBT learning environment that must be in place for an implementation of a sophisticated solution such as PV.  I just wish we only had to create the exceptions that are unique to our business.

 

So a feature request - online training!
