If you drag a field into or out of a panel, it is no longer listed in the visibility depends on list' All such dependencies are alos lost. Saving, closing and reopening brings it back, but minus the selected dependencies.

I observed similar behaviour last week as well although closing the form did not bring the field back. In my case the field wasn't shown in the inventory but I was able to modify properties etc. On closing and re-opening the form the field had dissapeared.
The other thing I noticed was moving a Command Button between panels and then trying to deploy the solution caused a deployment service error (meaningless error thrown to the Windows event log). My work-around for this was to copy and paste the button onto a different panel and delete the original.
This has been reported under SR-04182012-0013 and accepted as a defect.
