This article assumes you already have managerView installed and configured correctly. If you need more information on installing managerView, please see the links below:
There are several configuration changes in adminView you must make in order to configure Process360 to send events to managerView. Login to adminView and you should see an Analysis tab. If you don't, you may not be licensed for managerView integration.
Under the Configuration tab add/modify the following entries:
Staging Database
Database Type: Select either Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle.
Database Name: Enter the name of the database that contains the Staging table. The managerView default name is AEStage.
Server/Server TNSName: For Microsoft SQL Server, enter the name of the server for the SQL Server Database Services that will hold this database. For Oracle, Enter the TNS name of the server that will hold this database.
Schema Name: Oracle only. Enter the name of the database schema.
User: Enter the SQL userid to connect to the staging database server. Note: This must be a native SQL account. Windows Integrated ID's are not supported here.
Password: Enter a password for the user.
Confirm Password: Re-enter the password for the user.AEOLAP Database
Database Name: Enter the name of the OLAP databse. The default value is AEOLAP.
Server: Enter the name of the SSAS server which runs the OLAP database.managerView Web Service: Enter the complete path to the managerView Web Service. The default location of the managerView Integration Web Service is: http:///PrismIntegration/IntegrationService.svc
Under the System Data tab, you have the option to export data fields and participants to managerView. Select the items you wish to export to managerView and click Export.
Under the Process Data tab, you can enable each individual process to send events to managerView. The 'Enable Analysis' option tells Process360 that the given process is capable of sending events to managerView. The 'Auto-Register' option tells Process360 to generate event data for each workpacket as soon as it is created. Event data will be sent to managerView for the entire life of the workpacket. You can alternately configure workpackets to send event data to managerView for a sub-section of your process by using the Begin and End analysis events in your process map.
Once you've saved your changes, try creating a workpacket and verify events are being written to your X_STAGING table. If you have any questions about this information, please contact support (support@global360.com) or call 1-800-970-****.
