Issues after installing version 7.6.4

Hello,

we are testing the new release 7.6.4 of Metastorm in order to plan an upgrade on our systems.

 

After having installed the release and the hotfixes 7.6.4.1 and 7.6.4.2 I am facing an issue on some forms of our application that cannot be opened anymore (the progress bar window remains stuck). E.g. when I initiate a new process (blank forms) or open an existing one.

Further to some investigations I have found that the cause is related to the presence of one or more grid elements in the forms. Indeed if I remove all the gird elements the issue disappears. I have digged further into the problem and found that if I add a grid without populating its properties, the form opens fine and the grid is displayed properly (although I get the error message that the grid is not initialised). Only when I link the grid to the database (entering the table and column details), the issue starts to appear.

Grids have never caused problems in our application with previous versions of Metastorm (7.6.2 and 7.6.3) and of course we cannot remove them from the forms.

 

I'd like to know if anyone has experienced a similar issue and maybe has suggestions on how to solve it.
