So then you would have to change the reference back presumably?
I thought the standards for COM components, and I assumed this was continued for .Net components, was that the old interface was supported and the new one added, so not disrupting existing dependencies. Has .Net dropped/not adopted that concept?

OpenText make this sound so easy! In the real world this is likely to involve 2 iterations of regression testing, change control, and release (probably through multiple environments). I think there needs to be greater consideration for the real impact on customers when changes such as this are introduced. As Jerome has aluded to it makes much more sense to implement these in a manner which provides a consistent interface and thereby reduces the impact of change.

Guys,
Dan was just trying to give a heads-up, in case anyone had built a custom DMS provider and was moving to 9.1.3. Apparently the wrong version of Metastorm.DMS.dll was shipped with 9.1.3 - this was not intentional as we do realize the implications of changing things like this. So they are going to correct the issue with the first 9.1.3 hoftix which is due out by end of May.
thanks,
Ari
