Changes are coming!

 

Thanks for participating in the success of Metastorm Community Central over the last 2 years. We have over 4000 registered users, who participate in various ways. We have always believed that everyone benefits from expertise developed by Customers, Partners, and Employees. Sharing the expertise helps everyone to deliver value from the products that you have invested in.

Over the past year or so, Metastorm has undergone several changes including being acquired by OpenText. OpenText has been very supportive in this process and has injected new resources and experience into our ecosystem.
Global 360 was also acquired by OpenText a few months after the acquisition of Metastorm. The complimentary products that the 2 companies brought to market are now being delivered and supported out of the OpenText Business Process Solutions team.

As a result of these developments, we have several exciting changes for you.
Metastorm Community Central – MC2 is being rebranded as: OpenText BPS Community Central - http://bpscommunitycentral.opentext.com. If you ever forget the new name, the old site will redirect you.

Never fear! The structure of the community won’t be changing. We have changed the colors, the name, and have added more products to the community, but the same basic navigation for the discussion forums, community knowledge base, product enhancements, blogs, and links to the support pages remain the same.

 



 

We would like to welcome our friends, customers, partners, and employees from the Global 360 world. We have added the products that you are used to the community. We hope to grow the Global 360 community membership as we move forward. The community should be a valuable resource for all of your Business Process Management, Case Management, and Business Process Solutions needs.

As you can see from the graphic below, we have added the Global 360 heritage products to the community.

 

Keep in mind that there are some slight name changes:
• Metastorm Business Process Management is now MBPM.
• Metastorm ProVision is ProVision
• Metastorm Integration Manager is MIM.
• Metastorm Smart Business Workspace is Smart Business Workspace.

All of the existing content will be moving over to the new site including the posts, kb articles, etc.

 

We anticipate that the new community site will be live in the next few weeks.

 

Metastorm.com is now http://bps.opentext.com.  If you go to the old URL http://Metastorm.com you will be redirected to the new site.  There is exciting information there for you to use.

Just for grins, I re-read this since it is well over a year old ... and we are still on MC2 with no apparent time frame to change.  (Not that it is a problem, just interesting I though.  :robothappy:)
