Controls sharing local variable.

I created 2 different option groups that use the same variable (local business object).  I want to show the selection within a textbox (calculated using the local business object).

 

For some reason, the text box will only show the selection of 1 option group - the 2nd group, when selected - doesn't seem to update variable...

 

Is this allowed (or am I doing something wrong)? This is in v9.2. Thanks in advanced.

You cannot bind 2 updatable controls to one field and expect consistent behaviour. Use 2 local variables, one for each group, and use calculated logic to determine what you display.
