OpenText MBPM 9.2.1 and OpenText BPM Mobile 2.1 - Released!

We are pleased to announce the release of OpenText MBPM 9.2.1 and OpenText BPM Mobile 2.1, which can be downloaded from https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/cs.dll/Open/31182975 (for OpenText MBPM 9.2.1) and https://knowledge.opentext.com/knowledge/cs.dll/Open/31153612 (for OpenText BPM Mobile 2.1). These releases are available to Partners/Customers with active maintenance agreements.

Release Highlights for OpenText MBPM 9.2.1

 

Support for the Google Chrome Browser

• Google Chrome's ability to render MBPM forms provides a significant performance improvement. Try it out for yourself to see the difference in speed.

OpenText Content Server integration

• The Content Server integration that was released with OpenText MBPM 9.2.0.1 has been rolled into this 9.2.1 release, providing (1) Content Server extensions for create/delete of folders and (2) impersonation support for OpenText Content Server library functions.

MBPM Process Runtime API Reference

• The MBPM namespaces have been documented to assist process developers to get access to APIs.

UI Enhancements

• A new slide pane replaces the Home screen and buttons are duplicated at the top and bottom of MBPM forms to allow for easier access.

Support for additional form controls

• In addition to the existing form control support, BPM Mobile 2.1 also supports: Listbox, Image, Status, Button, Single-clip and Multi-clip. The full list of supported form controls includes: Single-clip, Checkbox, Command Button, Currency, Date/Time, Dropdown, Form Segment, Image, Label, Listbox, Memo, Multi-clip, Number, Panel, Radio Group, Text, Status

When I tried to upgrade from 9.2 to 9.2.1, the install rolled back and failed. Tomcat, and the two Metastorm services were stopped.
