Hi All,

I currently working on adding a custom menu item in TeamSite 6.7.1.

I have no problems in addting the menu item under 'Actions', but when it comes for restricting this custom menu item, I being stumped.

I believe the roles_custom.xml is not supported, from the manual, I see custom_userops.xml is the file where the user restrictions are specified.

I cannot find custom_userops.xml file under iw-home/local/config/lib/content_center/customer_src/etc/conf/customer, instead I see userops_custom.xml.

Is this an error in teamsite manual giving 'custom_userops.xml' or wrong 'userops_custom.xml' found under UITK folder?

Please someone help me understanding the above, or any clue how to restrict the custom menu item for users.

Though this may be quick thing to do but what I would do in such a confusion is to log a case with Support.

Second, I would do is to create another file 'custom_userops.xml' and now configure both the files, the existing one and the newly created one with the settings I want to do.

Run the make_toolkits.ipl and have things working my way.. When Support confirms which file is to be used, I will remove the other file.
