Is there any compatability issue in using VFE with IE7.0. If anyone has experienced it can you tell me how you solved it.

Thank you

IE 7.0 is not offically supported by IWOV for TS7.0 and above.
BTW, what issue did you faced to be resolved ?
Whats your TS version ?

Wait for SP1 for TS6.7.1 to be released. You might get that within this month only.

I guess you mean TS 6.7.1. I'd say it would be really bad if they didn't support IE 7.0 on the next release of TS

I know it is not supported but we are on 6.7.1 on Win 2003 and have a number of users (including, much to my chagrin, myself) on IE 7. We use VFE and have had no ill effects.

I am using teamsite 6.7.1

My problem has been with hyperlink. This does not happen consistently. It just erases the link and nothing shows up. Once it does it will not allow me to view the source. It is like the page is totaly corrupted.

Has anyone experienced issues like this

Thank you

Have you tried this on other systems as well ?
Can you try again by re-installing it ?

This is the issue we are having with hyperlink

We are having issues when we try to use hyperlink in visualformateditor. We have links that use query string like request("id") etc

" /bci/providers/AllowanceCalculation.aspx?id=<%=request("id")%>"

When we preview it converts the "<" into < and ">" to > and hence kills the links. After it does that it looks like it corrupts the editor. We are not able to view source any more.

Can I write something in configuration layer that would get rid of this problem

Thank you,

Using preservechars value="<>" in visualformateditor.cfg fixed it. Thank you all for your help.
