Gateway E-mails

Hi,

We've a problem with e-mail sending from gateway.

We have OpenText AppWorks Gateway v1.1.6. Have configured SMTP fields in Mail Settings under Settings. Tried various options, but none seems to work. Haven't received any e-mails from gateway.

We use Tempo Box to test this. Tried sharing a folder with other, they don't get sharing request through e-mail etc.
We have checked Content Server side and all seem ok.

Is there an easy way to check whether gateway can actually send out e-mails? Any specific logs?

Hi Uldis,

Double check if you have cross trust between OTAG and OTCS resources, means OTCS access role have access to OTAG and vice versa. otsync.log will details the email transactions, I had experienced with this when no external emails were sent but internal invitation did sent okay.

If in different server, make sure OTAG server is not blacklisted in Exchange.

Check the connection parameters that you use on Content Server OTDS resource, are you using les-service or CWS? if need to use for external sharing, CWS URLs are required.

What is your Content Server version and update? and OTDS version and update?
