Grid Status Column

I was playing to the status column in grids (9.3.2.2) and notice the Safety/Danger threshold values for grids seem to require fixed numeric values. Regular (non grid) status fields allow calculations and variables to be used. Anybody have any idea how to make these more dynamic in nature? (I realize its like to be unsupported.) The thresholds for the grid need to be dynamic based upon other form values.

You are correct that the thresholds are literal values rather than variables. I have not tried this, but it seems to me that the best approach is probably to focus on the business object item. Perhaps a scripted business object might work?
