Appworks Gateway Configuration for Tempo Box

We are using Content Server 10.5 and appworks gateway 1.1.6 to set-up Tempo Box.My question is on OpenText AppWorks Gateway Settings screen:
1. Shall we use the existing CS10 content server database Admin user's and Service name or we have to create new service name and user.
2. Now we are able to create the OTAG using existing CS10 Admin user but getting Authentication error at the time of OTAG Login.

The guide "OpenText Tempo Box, Content Server Edition 10.5.0 - Installation and Administration Guide English (SYNC100500-IGD-EN-1)" section "2.3.4 Deploying the OpenText AppWorks Gateway" does not have more details regarding this topic.

Please let us know more details regarding this.

Please consider one of these two articles regarding the selection of a database for AppWorks Gateway:

For Oracle, you should create a new table space. For MySQL, create a new schema. A separate user ID is recommended with appropriate permissions as explained in the documentation.

Yes, you can use the existing CS 10 database admin user and CS 10 database name.
Page 19 of the OpenText Tempo Box, Content Server Edition 10.5.0 - Installation and Administration Guide English (SYNC100500-IGD-EN-1) explains how to sign in to the AppWorks Gateway and update the Content Server URL. (steps 9 - 13) It goes on to explain an edit to the paramenter in the Tomcat server.xml file that is needed if you want to use Content Server authentication. (steps 16 - 18)

If you continue to experience problems, the AppWorks Gateway provides information in the gateway.log file which is located in the TOMCAT_HOME\logs directory. Information is also available in
the default Catalina logs such as catalina_<date>_.log and localhostaccess_ logs.<date>.txt.

We got reply-back from OpenText, Appworks should use it's own database but you are saying we can use existing Content Database. Please confirm that.

I use the CS database, but I'm not running a production system. If OpenText Support advises that you use its own database, then please follow their recommendations.
