What kind of functionality are you thinking of?

The ECM Everywhere application is a branded AppWorks Client, which means you can deploy additional AppWorks applications (written in HTML5/JavaScript) using the AppWorks Gateway.

Thanks for your information.

We were looking for more security on the Document management side.
Restricting download/export access for the particular documents. Users cannot share is across.

Is there any documentation for how can we create such appwork applications on top of the ECM Everywhere?

ECM Everywhere follows the same permissions that the user is granted in Content Server, so if the user has access to view the document they will be able to download it on their device. Without changes to the current ECM Everywhere client we would not be able to restrict this functionality, even through the AppWorks client and to the Content Server permission model.

Are you envisioning additional permissions within Content Server that would control the ability to download / export content in the mobile clients?

We will capture this as a feature request for a future release.
