New Application in team site

Hi,
We are a team of 4 members and we have just completed our team site Training in our Organization.
Now we are trying to make a dummy project so as to acquaint ourself with the Do's and dont's of team site.
Can any body suggest us some of the minor and useful application name to start with.

What do you mean by application name??

You can start with a simple Intranet... Which may contain..

1. 1-2 Data Entry Forms (DCTs)
2. 1-2 TPLs (to generate output files like HTML / ASP / JSP)
3. a simple workflow which will use Open Deploy to deploy these files to any webserver
4. an OD script

If you wish you can add Data Deploy also...

While training, you have not done the 'GeekZone' project? I am assuming you have your training through Interwoven only.

We are using only team site 6.7.1 and we made DCT and generated DCR.
Now we want to start from the scratch by making our own Work flow.

I am not confirmed about TS 6.7.1 course, however while doing for 6.5 certification... we have done a 3-4 days dummy project as a part of our course content.

Also curious to know... if you have got trained over new .ipm model of workflows?

There are some sample workflows provided by Interwoven.. try to play with them... it helps...

You are asking us to provide you with requirements for a workflow process that only you will be able to validate -- that doesn't make any sense to me.

You either need a real project to work on, or you need to create your own "dummy" project to work on - in either case - you will have to validate it - for that, you're best off if you get someone else in your organization (not involved with the development) to "play customer" - provide you their set of requirements and let them validate your work.

Do you have experience with other CMS technologies? You can probably take the flowchart diagram from one of those and try to construct it in TeamSite. A fairly simple complexity workflow might consist of
author->email->reviewer->email->concurrent/group approval->submit->email-> edition->deploy->email

This is just a flow of major user tasks. You may expand as appropriate.

We got one case study and we are working on it,I will definitely meet U with further probs.
