Database Dump

TS 6.5 sp2 Od 6.0.2 and DD 5.6 version. Is there a way to just dump the entire Database table from staging to production by just using DD?

May be this is not so clear, well here is what i want to do. Just want to copy database table from staging DB to Prod DB and want to use DD? is there a way?

For get about options of using DD and a Workflow to create table both in stag and prod simultaneously, that is not useful for me.

Any suggestions or comments please let me know.

The manual says no.

You *could* do DB to XML and then XML to DB.

That begs the question as to why ? There have got to be better utilities than DD to do this.

Or are you just really bored and want to learn about DD ? Smiley Very Happy

Also is this a one time copy or something you envision running all the time ?

Thanks Andy, well this is Job which will be done over and over again Definately not a onetime Job. Yeah it been a while since i played with DD, want to get back to it. Is there is copy functionality in SQL to copy the things from stage to prod?

Some perl expert might have a written a script to do a db copy.....?

Just considering all the options here.
