Unencrypted Database Password in Appworks 1.2.1 ?

Hello,

I am wondering why the database Password in the config file %Appworks_Tomcat%\conf\opentext.properties is unencrypted and if this something that can be changed.

Hi Simon,

The opentext.properties file in AppWorks 1.2.2 and above is encrypted

So you would need too upgrade to AppWorks 1.2.2 and follow the instructions in the documentation to encrypt your existing properties file using the support tool provided
