CSSDK Issue

What I am trying to achieve:

I am trying to call a JAVA class from an external class in a workflow. This class just transitions to the next task.
For this purpose, I need to create CSLocalFactory Object, then client object, WorkflowEngine object and then CSTask object. In my class I have imported all the required packages.

Issue:

When the workflow calls JAVA class I get an error java.lang.Exception no cssdk in java.library.path
Following is the complete stack trace

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no cssdk in java.library.path
at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadLibrary(ClassLoader.java:1682)
at java.lang.Runtime.loadLibrary0(Runtime.java:822)
at java.lang.System.loadLibrary(System.java:992)
at TestWorkflow.queryTasks(TestWorkflow.java:43)
at TestWorkflow.main(TestWorkflow.java:80)

What I have tried till now:

I have set the CLASSPATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH and PATH.
defaultTSServer in cssdk.cfg is pointing to our teamsite server.
iw.cfg in cssdk is pointing to correct location in our teamsite server.

After setting these when I execute the JAVA class from the command line by giving a valid task Id it works fine but still not when it executes within the workflow.

I have also set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH in iwuiboot file and reset the ui, also rebooted the server as well.
I have also set all these paths in root profile file as well and I am executing the workflow as root user.
I have set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH in my wft file as well.
Also while in command v of external task I have added –classpath and –Djava.library.path. –classpath works fine but not –Djava.library.path=/apps/iw-home/cssdk:/apps/iw-home/lib.
System.load(“/apps/iw-home/cssdk”) in the JAVA class also did not help.

Following is my classpath

I assume this is on TeamSite 6.5 and on Solaris.

Running External Tasks is a bit tricky. You need to write a unix shell script wrapper to actually call the java class otherwise you will have this same issue. Plus the owner of the task needs to be iwui or you will never be able to get a CSClient object successfully.

If this is 6.7, use the URL External Task feature as it is much simpler.

Can you please tell if this version also required Shell script wrapper. I will try the same and also make iwui as the owner.

Hi,

TS 6.7.1 has java urlexternaltask, so no wrapper is required.
It is good and failrly simple to use.

Hi,
Just check java.library in PATH variable. If CSSDK is not there in your path just go and it in environment variable.
