Having Nested workflows start immediately

Hello -

I am using TS 6.7.1 on Windows Server 2003 and am using workflow modeler to design workflows. I'm wondering if there is any way to immediately invoke a nested workflow without having to click "Start Job" in the task window. I don't see an "immediate" attribute for a nested workflow task.

This thread may be of some help. It is unsupported, but Bo was able to get it to work.

I moved away from nested workflows a long time ago, so I never implemented it.

"immediate" attribute belongs to CGI Tasks. Magic words for the WFT Tasks are background="t".

Unfortunately, "background" is the attribute of the <wftfile> sub-Tag, not <wftask> Tag itself.
I have no idea if WF Modeler covers such tricks

My bad there, I keep forgetting about WFM. The hack in the other thread will likely not work in WFM generated workflows.
