Commads not working in TS?

I am trying to create new brach, workareas but all these commands have
been disabled. Are their certain commads i need to get these option from the
File Menu to get activated.

Do you have permissions to run these commands? How are you trying to run them, through the GUI or CLT?

Either way, if they are disabled, you probably dont have the right privileges to change/create branch/workarea. Are you logged in as a master and still unable to do this?

To create branches you should be either in admin/master role.
To see option in the file menu you have to be inside the workarea and select the menus.

You also need to provide the user details (role / permissions)..

Have you been recently upgraded to TS 6.7.1.?? The user access management has been changed all over in TS 6.7.1

Please provide more details as what role you are having on that branch?

Hi Mush,
Are u added in right group? Is there any sytem group realted to TeamSite such as TeamSite Web Preview(The could be mention in iw.cfg for webserver_group)? In my case I had all the privileges still I wasn't able to add branch/file or even modify any existing file. Then I added myself to this group and all went fine..

Could you pls provide a screenshot of the screen, where you are haveing the access permission issue?

How do you put screen shot to this forum? Do you attach it as a file.
But what command can I type in to get the screen shot into a file
format, & later attach it as an attachment to this forum?
I need every steps.

1. On the screen, which has EDIT buttons as disabled... press 'Print Screen' button.
2. Open MS_Word, and EDIT >> Paste
3. Save the file and attach over here using Manage Attachments button.

Alternatively, you can use a print screen and paste that screen shot in the MS Paint application. Edit that and save in .bmp or .jpg format, then you can attach that image file.
