Windows "Everyone" group

Hey all,
Currently working with TS 6.7.1 SP1 on Win 2003 Server R2. I am unable to remove the "Everyone" group from any directory/file under the ISF Mount (Y Smiley Happy

. Once removed "Everyone" is automatically re-added. This was not the case with TS 6.5. I had been able to set "OS" level permissions at will with 6.5 Is this no longer the case with 6.7.1?

TeamSite and MS Windows permissions can be problematic. MS Windows permission inheritance can cause this issue. I have seen that the permissions on the drive it self cause a problem. I would suggest that you use a separate partition and remove all the appropriate permissions and disable inheritance. Then create a new store, branches and see what permissions you get.

When you "Restrict Access to the Workarea" using the TS GUI.. Everyone should go away.. If this does not work, enable workarea security in iw.cfg and iwreset. Check permissions again

This will not work as you are trying..
