In the past when I have developed DPLive documents for Customers they usually use sections in their documents for anything that needs to be added (images, text, etc). But what about for field values that are on the document.
For Example:
1. We receive input xml from SAP for document1 (containing account info, address info, etc) in Document Presentment. The StoryTeller document is loaded from the sap xml and then the "Message" is "Paused" to be presented in DPLive supervisor.
- From supervisor a user elects to "edit" the document presenting them with the "retouch" application.
Questions:
1. Can the Address fields on the document (populated in DP from SAP XML) be edited in retouch? (Using Metadata maybe??? Just a thought.)
If you cannot edit the Address Fields in Retouch, does using any version of Live Letters w/Retouch allow the capability of changing a fields value on the Document?
I also tried finding a way to "Preload" a "Section" using the input data from SAP in Document Presentment. This way, we could have editable sections on the document, that are preloaded with the values from SAP. The user could change them, or leave them). Unfortunately, I don't believe there is a way to preload sections from input data received from sap XML.
