issue with tagging the files

Hi All,

I have a workflow where in we check if the file has necessary metadata before submission. If a files doesnt we provide a button on the instantiation page which will take us to the tagging page the following link.
http://$hostname/iw-cc/tag?done_page=/iw-cc/teamsite/common/refresh_parent_and_close_window.html?$url$tag_files
which becomes

the http://host-name/iw-cc/tag?done_page=/iw-cc/teamsite/common/refresh_parent_and_close_window.html?http%3A%2F%2Fhost-name%2Fiw-cc%2Fnewjob%3Fiw_template_file%3Dsome-folder%2Fsome-folder%2Fworkflow.wft&vpath=/default/main/www_site_com/DEV/WORKAREA/integration/somefolder/New File.txt

what my problem is when we click "Save and close" the parent is refreshing but the
Invalid workflow:\nERROR: Bad area in task Populate Metadata.\nERROR: 02007: No workarea found\nJob 17934 does not exist.\nERROR:02007: No workarea found
error is occuring

any suggestions and help are welcome

what you are doing is clear what you have done is not. Please attach you wft\ wfm code to the post

if we find that the given file needs metadata we direct the user to tag file to the user interface.

but when we assign the metadata the parent window ie the workflow instantion form is refreshing and the child window is closing but I am getting the error as described above

my new job url is something like this ,"http://" . $hostname . "/iw-cc/newjob?iw_template_file=deployment.wft. After the refresh it is failing to find the areavpath and branch path, how do i deal with this????

I haved tried using $new_job_url = "http://" . $hostname . "/iw-cc/newjob?iw_template_file=deployment.wft"."&vpath=$work_area"; it is now getting the branch and workarea path, but still not able to pass file similarly

when i try to add
$new_job_url = "http://" . $hostname . "/iw-cc/newjob?iw_template_file=deployment.wft"."&vpath=$work_area"."&iw_file=$filepath";

or appending file name in the vpath as the user guide suggests the error i am getting is
HTTP status 404-/iw-cc/teamsite/common
type status report
message /iw/cc/teamsite/common
description the requested resource (/iw/cc/teamsite/common) is not available

the user customozation guide doesnt tell much abt how to do this
