Is there any API available in Open API for a functionality similar to File->Import?
Actually i have a file on my weblogic server and i want to import it on my teamsite server, is there any way to implement this using Open API?

Is this is something you are trying for one time or trying to reuse it.In any case you can write a script on weblogic server in java which can just FTP the file/files.

I want to reuse it..i want to set metadata for a file, so i need to import the file on teamsite and then need to set its metadata using Open API.
