Error code 7

Hi all,

I get the following error when previewing a file

An error occurred in utility daemon. Error code: 7. Please see details in iwutild.log.

I don't see anything wrong in the iwutil.log (Attach)

Does anyone know what error code 7 is all about.

Teamsite 6.7.1.0 build 60750 install on server 2003 SP2, Browser IE6.0

Chances are there is a problem with the PT or the DCR being processed - I suggest trying to run iwpt_compile.ipl from the command line with the appropriate arguments to test / verify the PT and DCR.

Does this occur to a particular file or any file in your workarea? Also please paste the screenshot. As adam said check your PT's. Did you check your system errors? and IIS when you preview it? try browsing that particular file in IIS.

I guess it is not a major thing earlier i was told by support to down grade the windows sevice pack to avoid any issues from the OS side. Since 6.7.1 is compatiple to win 2003 or win 2003 sp1 release 2.

Thanks all, the error was in the TPL file not being formatted properlly, I found that by looking in the "iwutild_cmdout.log" being a bit new at this it often take a while to figure out how to find out exactly where the error is coming from.

I still don't know for sure if error code 7 relate to file not being fromatted correctly only or if it a generic error code being displayed. In any case if I get this error again I'll be sure to look at the log file first to see if I can get the answer there first.
