For the following DCR file, the DD works fine without any error.

I am trying to create different rows based on "type_1" and "type_2".
"type_1" is a mandatory record. But not "type_2".
Please advice.

Based on the above - I think you have some faulty logic and I'm surprised the first DCR works.

I don't believe that a primary key can ever be null.

ID in the database is not set as PRIMARY KEY.
On the DD Config, its been defined to primary key.

The first DCR works fine and values are been deployed properly to DB.

While pushing your second DCR, for the group name="SIDEBARS_LEFT_FREEHTML" you are trying to push root/0/left/0/type_2/[0-5]/sidebar_id for the ID field which is not present in the tuple & since you have identified it as the primary & the key does not exists DD is failing.
