java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

Hi,

I am getting "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError" error in od.err log file.
How to resolve this issue?

Evn: Windows 2003, TS 6.7.1 & OD 6.2

John, please... There are tons of KB Articles expalining how to control JVM memory amount. Search is much better than on DevNet, too

Thank you. And I have gone through Support Site and couldn't find one specific to OD 6.2 version. Also whatever solutions found for OD 6.1.1 is already implemented in the server and still i am getting the error.
I referred Knowledge Base Article: 54430 & 59946.

Why didn't you mention that? Knowing what has been already covered helps tremendously with issue assessment.
That said, JVM is JVM. It is not specific to OD whatever the version. Take a look at KB 49582.

Thank you so much. I did same as what mentioned on 49582 and even its not fixed that issue. Still getting the "java.lang.OutOfMemoryError" on od.err file.

How do you invoke OD? Do you use 'iwodstart' or 'iwodcmd start'? If it's iwodstart - it instantiates new JVM
for each Deployment, all Java Flags must be set in the batch File itself. 'iwodcmd start' utilizes existing OD JVM, that's
what you should be using.

I would also check for hung Java processes or perhaps even reboot your server after your JVM setting changes
