How to add additional meta-tags?

Is it possible to additional meta-elements to a livesite-page. For data like language, cache, robots, expiration, author, copyright, etc?

depends on what version you are on. prior to 3.0 i think it might take some work .

you could possibly do something with a custom layout of filters to inject these values into the rendered page.

I know in 3.1 there is a meta-map available within the renderering context available for page/site processors and component externals that you can add things to but this won't be out until april...
