Dynamic IWitem Description setting in DCT

Hi There,

I have a requriement that says, when an drop down item value is changed, the description of another item should change.

I can achieve this in TS 6.7.1 by having IWItem.setDescription (text), but currently I am working on TS 6.5 SP3 where I do not have any clue.

Does anyone know how to achieve the above requirement in TS 6.5 SP3?

a simple workarround I can think if is to use two items instead of one..and hide the other one based on the selection in the dropdown.. The solution will not work if you are doing a DD deployment but else can be taken care of in the PT
