We've built an Excel COM add-in that allows us to create custom functions which are capable of reaching into a remote database via web services. When users save a workbook containing these links into WorkSite, they are prompted with a message to the effect of "Do you want to save links, yes or no". If they answer, no, everything works fine. If they answer yes, WorkSite tries to save the associated XLA file along with the document which leads to errors.
Is there something we can do differently so that WorkSite never prompts the user for this message, but instead always saves the document without the links?
