Blank Form

Recently migrated backing store froma 6.5 server to a 6.7.1 server on Windows. Migration went fine, did id mapping and copying config files too. I followed the changes in which config files are written in 6.7.1 ( templating.cfg and available_templates.cfg). I tried to open a dcr / create a new form. All i get is a blank form with no fields at all. ( plain blue form with no fields). Do anyone know why it happens?

Even in workflow when i submit a default page i do a get a blank page at poin where you were suppose to choose a workflow or enter job description.

Quite not what i am expecting here.

Check to see if the TSIMP_server user has access to the branches.

It certainly appears that oen of the processes does not have the permission to run where it should

Nope that didn't work, i added TSIMP_server user to all groups which access different branches and did a iwreset -a. But that didn't solve it, i still get a blank screen if i do New Form Entry.

Is there any information in any of the log files (iwhome/local/logs/, and more importantly iwhome/local/logs/iwui/)?

I would suggest the log files as well. It looks like your JVM version on the server is not appropriate for TS 671. You can also check on that.

What Windows platform are you running? Is this happening for all your client machines? What version of OS \ Browser are you running on the client machines?

I am on Windows 2003 sp2, and i am using IE6.

i checked the iwui logs
there is this error.log which gives this error. I am not sure what it says.

Should there be a "services" folder here?

Windows 2003 sp2 is not a supported platform :-)

No wait, Win2003 Sp1 R2 is suported, I have a better Service pack than that, which is SP2 so it should work.

No, it does not work like that. That is the case when Win2003 Sp1 R2 is Minimum requirement. In case of Teamsite, it is Supported Platform which means platforms not mentioned within the Supported Platforms are not validated\ certified for the product. The product may still run well on other platforms.
