FTP payload adapter?

I know that there is an FTP delivery adapter, but is there an FTP payload adapter out there anywhere? I need to pull all the contents of a folder on an FTP server and deposit them into a workarea in teamsite on a regular basis. I know I can do this with a script at the OS level, but would prefer to do in OD if at all possible. Any ideas?

I don't think there's one available outOfthebox .but checkout this old OD_Adaptive_Arch.pdf document it mentions some scope for customizing
/writing a custom payload adapter (slide 17,18) and you could combine it with a custom script.
