Workflow Modeler:: config.xml files and ui widgets

Hi,
Note that I have already submitted this question to Interwoven Support. However since there was no response yet after 2 weeks, I am posting this here for help.

I have installed TeamSite 671 sp1 on a windows machine. Also I am using the new workflow modeler. I had a few old workflow templates that I have converted to new workflow models using the workflow modeler. However I don’t have enough information to modify the way different components are laid out. In the workflow I created, I have a few Configurable (global) variables. The GlobalLinkSourceWF_config.xml file has the information about how to accept the values from the user while initiating the workflow. However currently all the Inputs are just “text” I want to make them text or CheckBox or Radio or TextArea as needed. Is that possible by editing the ****_config.xml file? I can see a property in the file that is called “UIWidget” and is defined as text. What other types are supported for UI widget. Also What is the actual procedure to modify the default_config.xml so that the changes are actually applied to the workflow model when invoked from “New Job”? Do we need to submit the modified config.xml to STAGING area? What is the correct procedure to do this? Please let me know all the steps involved.

read the workflow modeller manual for iwmodeldct.

This has been discussed many times in the forum. Search the Forum for your answers. Basically its just like creating a DCT once you have defined your variables.

I was able to create the custom_instantiation.cfg file. I put it into the correct WORKAREA under the workflowModels and submitted to STAGING AREA. I am able to see the ui as I expected with the radio buttons showing up. However I still don't understand how to call a javascript function correctly depending on "onClick" or "OnChange" events.

Please see the attached custom_instantiation.cfg file. Here I am trying to call show and hide javascript functions when a radio button is clicked however that never happens. I don't see any alerts. The javascript is not working as I expect. There must be something I am still missing here. Can you please guide me?

I believe that you need to create onItemChange event handlers in your init() function - the same way you would in a FormsPublisher DCT.
