View Sets migration

Hi !

We are upgrading a Worksite MP 4.1 B9 installation to version 5.0 SP1

We have already migrated the server, but we don't find any information about how to upgrade the View Sets of the Web Components into Application Sets.

Is there any documentation about this?

Hi,

I'm afraid you might be facing a challenge there. There is a (draft) Upgrade Guide, it can be found on the support site, but according to this guide:

Due to the extent of the design changes in 5.0, many customizations made in a 4.1 deployment will need to be manually re-implemented after upgrading to 5.0.

All necessary steps for upgrading the server are in te same "Upgrade Guide - WSMP 4.1 to WSMP 5.0 SP1". It can be found on the support site. As far as the web is converned, you probably have to redo the changes!

I do not have access to the knowledge base site, and it also doesnt provide an option to register on the login screen. Request you to attach the document to this thread, so it might be very useful for the other folks too, who are trying to migrate from 4.1 to 5.0 SP1

Sorry, but I think the best way to proceed here is that you contact support and ask them how to get access to the support site or provide you with the document.
