iwproxy: It just wont preview the file for me
ramli
Hi All
I create a jsp and place it in a workarea and when I try to preview this file it leads to 404 Page can be found issue.
This same setting works for me in the production environment but somehow its not working in the QA enviroment.
I have also attached the entire debug logs.
Please can somehow help me out on this one.
thanks
Prasad

What about any other file type in the same workarea on the same QA server? Are you able to preview them?
Phanie
Let us know your environment details too.

Does jsp have any includes? If yes, do they exist in the workarea you are trying to preview?

Hi
Thanks for the replies.
1. I am able to preview an html files properly.
2. I created a dummy jsp file with just the following tags
This is a test
I was not able to preview this file as well.
3. The TS environment is 6.1

Going through your iwproxy debug output, I noticed that you are trying to preview:
/iw-mount/default/main/GWS_US_Retail/WORKAREA/ALL/retail/jsp_cm/corp/press/BDM0601_Press_Release.jsp
and after proxy rewrite, the server is requesting the following file:
http://10.80.104.16/CMS/GWS_US_Retail/WORKAREA/ALL/retail/jsp_cm/corp/press/BDM0601_Press_Release.jsp
The rewritten url is generating a 404 error. Is that a valid URL?

Hi Sajjid
You were right the path was not right in the URL. I had modified the same in IWPROXY_PRECONNECT_REMAP and its working fine now.
Thanks for the help.
