Bug in linked documents?

Can anyone else verify that they experience this issue on WorkSite 8.2?

I have a Word file linked to several other files (including Visio type files) using the WorkSite linked documents feature. However, not all workstations have Visio installed on them. On a workstation WITHOUT Visio, when opening the Word file in WorkSite and prompted to update the links, I select Download. After this, I receive a Word message "Do you wish to save changes to 129601.doc?". Selecting any of the buttons doesn't open the Word document correctly.

However, if you repeat the procedure on a workstation which DOES have Visio, the file opens correctly.
