is it possible to change the document profile through a popup window....

hi all...working with WorkSite 8.2 SP1. a user who doesnt have rights to delete a document: when the delete key on the keyboard or in the outlook toolbar is clicked to delete a document in filesite, outlook displays its message asking "are you sure you want to permanently delete the document?", then filesite intercepts that message, after "yes" is clicked, with its own messaage "are you sure you want to REMOVE this document from the folder?". so its not actually deleting the document.

Is it possible when the "yes" button is clicked on filesites popup to change the metadata on that document? like the doc class to delete?

I guess another question to find out is, is that popup menu to remove the document from the folder exposed? can we get a handle on it?

This is currently unsupported by the SDK, but it has been entered as an enhancement and its support is slated for 8.5.

you mentioned it has been requested for 8.5, what type of functionality will be given to us if it is added to 8.5? Will it only be available within the SDK or will it actually be an option in the client / server interface to hook into the delete key?
