How to stop multiple windows - custom menu

When users click on custom menu item, it open a window. If the user clicks again it is opening another window. What I am looking is if window already open then when every users clicks on custom menu it should check if already window open, if the window open then it should load on same window.

If you are opnening your windows wirh JS, you can name your windows, and later on they will be reopened.

ie

window.open("http://www.google.com", "google_page");

Calls to this, will result only in one window.

Now I'm not sure if you can do it in the menu, but I've done this from the CCSTD protlets many times.
