ECM Connector not working with MB 4.6

I recently upgraded my MB sever to 4.6. Everything went smooth except now the ECM connector from TS no longer works. I get this error: "Error while preparing the browser contents."

I am using the same logon from before the upgrade and I can log into the MB Web Application with that user. I have also made sure that my ASP.NET settings are set to 1.1. Teamsite version is 6.7.1 Build 65609.

I am attaching the details of the from java error window. It looks to me like there is something wrong with the user but I can't figure out what since its seems to work everywhere else.

Have you tried running the MediaBin Web Service validation tasks? Primarily, navigating to http://localhost/MediaBinWebService/MediaBinServer.asmx on the web service's host machine and then invoking both the ValidateCurrentUser and TestMediaBinConnection methods.

TestMediaBinConnection returns

MBException: User: AnonymousUser. The user logon failed. The user name or password may be invalid for the specified domain. NOTE: Since anonymous access is enabled, you must call CreateAuthenticationTicket before establishing a connection to the MediaBin server.

I don't understand the second error since I have the anonymous user set to a domain user. How do I "call CreateAuthenticationTicket before establishing a connection to the MediaBin server"???

I just ran this on my production box (that is working just fine) and I get the exact same result.

NEW INFO: After further investigation we have discovered that it could be an issue with the .NET framework. Not sure what the issue is just yet so if you have any insight on the ECM connector and the .NET framework I would appreciate it.

Those are the results you would expect to see...so, on the surface, your webservice appears to be setup correctly.

It sounds as though IIS is issuing a connection reset for some reason. Are there any messages showing up in the Event logs (primarily System but check Application as well)

Also, is the MediaBinWebService running within an application pool that may have restrictions set on memory and\or CPU usage?

Was this an in place upgrade of MB? Try doing iwreset -a on TeamSite.

Ok I am still struggling with this one. I have moved to a different server with a fresh install of MB 4.6 web service. Unfortunately I am still having the same issues. Here is what is showing up in the Application Event log everytime I try to connect from Teamsite ECM connector.

The description for Event ID ( 0 ) in Source ( .NET Runtime ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: .NET Runtime version 1.1.4322.573- Setup Error: Failed to load resources from resource file
Please check your Setup.

Please provide details of your ECM Connector settings in TS. Screenshot would be best but make sure you provide all the settings.

Please use FQDN for server name and see if that works.

Also the last field should be http://server-name/mediabin/ImageInfo.asp

Make sure that you do not have anonymous access enabled on the webservices virtual directory in IIS.

To add to what Srinivas said, because your screen shot shows that you are planning on using a guest account, your web service should be set up to use Basic authentication and not anonymous. You should change your IIS settings and your web.config and then perform the two localhost validation tests as before. When you switch the web service to Basic Authentiction only, the browser will prompt you for login credentials....you should specify the same guest user as you have in the TeamSite configuration tab.
