Custom Control in Worksite Dialogs

Hi there,

one of our client wants to add a custom control (combo box) to their existing New Profile Dialog. I've been advised by the support team that it can not be done through the dialog editor.

My question is can we add the custom control through a third party tool (is there any such tool available?) or do we need to make the whole New Profile dialog in vb6 or vb.net and register the contols in iManage!!

any help would be appreciated..

You can add the Canvas control to the New Profile dialog via the Dialog Editor. This control is merely a button that allows you to call your own form; thus it can serve as an extension to your own combo box.

It's an extra step but that's the limitation.

Hi JNY - just saw this post and was curious. How do you actually catch something like a Click event on the Canvas control in order to call up your own custom form? This doesn't appear to be covered in any of the documentation I've seen so far.
